Online learning during the school closure

Just before the school closure, all parents and carers should have received a Home Learning pack for their child which included key passwords and information to enable your child to access Online Learning material.

Nursery and Reception

For all our children in Nursery and Reception, we have sent home paper activity packs. Please let the school office know if you have not received yours. You will also have received an email invitation to Evidence Me. Evidence Me is being used the teachers in order to send out further information about how to support your child’s learning. You can also use Evidence Me to share what you have done with the class teachers.

Years 2-6

For Years 2-6, all work is shared with pupils using google classroom. Your child has an individual account to access this work. If your child does not know their password, please email the Class Teacher using the email below and they will share this information with you.

If you are unable to login using the password provided or you are having technical issues, please email roseroberts@wblatch.brighton-hove.sch.uk. Please include details of your technical issue and a contact phone number.

Purple Mash

All pupils have a PurpleMash account and login details were provided in your child’s Home Learning pack. All work for Year 1 is provided using PurpleMash. All other year groups may be set work via PurpleMash. If you do not know your child’s login details, please contact your child’s class teacher.

Wellbeing

Life is changing for all of us for a while. At times of change we can feel anxious, stressed, worried, sad, bored, lonely or frustrated. It's important to remember it is okay to feel this way, and that everyone reacts differently. It may help to remember this situation is temporary and, for most of us, these difficult feelings will pass.
