Physical Education (PE)
We develop children's physical competence and knowledge of movement and safety, as well as the ability to use these to perform in a wide range of activities associated with the development of a healthy lifestyle.
Physical Education also develops pupils' confidence and generic skills, especially those of collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking. Year 6 pupils have the opportunity to participate in our Sports Leaders Programme which develops leadership skills through mentoring younger children and modelling techniques.

Albion in the Community - Premier League Primary Stars
We are very lucky to work closely with Albion in the Community, operated by Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club. This year we will be participating in their Premier League Primary Stars programme, which helps to support and develop the teaching of PE within the school, as well PSHE and reading. In November, the school took part in a numeracy enrichment day at the American Express Community Stadium as part of our programme of support, which combined numeracy with football and culminated with a tour of the impressive stadium.
